2026 Prompt List
For eight years, sculptors from around the world have looked forward to October. Some are picking up clay for the first time, and some are working professionals chasing a spark. All of them show up for the same reason: to create more than they would have alone. This is your invitation to join them.

Rules
Sculptober is simple: follow the daily prompt list, sculpt something inspired by it, and share your work online with the hashtag #sculptober. There are no strict rules. Use any medium, take as much or as little time as you like, and don’t worry if you miss a day. The challenge is about creating more than you would have otherwise, exploring new ideas, and joining a community of artists doing the same.
Simple but Difficult
One of the hardest parts of sculpting is actually coming up with an idea of what to create. Use the official sculptober prompt list above to help with that.
Step 1: Create
Create a sculpture in any medium. Digital, physical, doesn't matter. What is important, is that you create! Don't get caught up in the what ifs and just go for it.
Step 2: Share
Share your creation on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and wherever else you like to share your work. Just get it out there!
Step 3: Tag
Make sure to use the hashtag #sculptober so that your work can be found by other participants and followers.

A Note from Follygon
This is the 8th year of Sculptober, and I still get excited every time October rolls around.
When I started this, I just wanted a reason to sculpt more. I never imagined it would turn into a community this big, or that I'd get to watch so many of you grow year after year. Some of you have been here since the very first list. Some of you are opening ZBrush or picking up clay for the first time this month. I'm glad you're all here.
Here's my one piece of advice: don't let a missed day end your October. Nobody is keeping score. A rough sketch you actually finish will teach you more than a perfect idea you never start. Sculpt what you can, share it even when it's not your best work, and see where you are by the 31st. You might surprise yourself.
